The Prison Fellowship Family of Sites:

AN ANGEL TREE CHRISTMAS

It starts with a gift. But it's so much more.

Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree is the largest national ministry tp reach out to the children of inmates and their families with the love of Christ. By connecting incarcerated parents with their children through the delivery of gifts at Christmas, you help brighten the lives of hundreds of thousands of children. Your support shares with these kids a message of love from their parents and the true meaning of Christmas — the Good News of Jesus Christ.

THE BEGINNING OF ANGEL TREE

Wanted: Mary Kay Beard's Story

mary-kayIt all started with an ex-prisoner.

"I am both awed and humbled to have been a part of something so enormously effective," says Mary Kay Beard, the founder of Angel Tree. "Being there at the beginning — I consider it one of the highest privileges of my life."

Mary Kay was a shotgun-packing bank robber and adept safecracker who made the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. Arrested in June of 1972, she quickly collected 11 federal indictments and 35 charges against her. But her 180-year sentence turned into a six-year sentence — and her broken and troubled life became a testimony to God's power and blessings.

"When I was arrested, I thought my life was over… God was about to step in."

PRISON FELLOWSHIP'S VISION

We aim for radical transformation.

chuckThe Bible promises, "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"

We continue to bear witness to this Truth as the "least of these" transform into disciples of Christ behind prison walls and passionate church leaders after they walk out the prison gates.

Do you believe that all things are possible with God?
